Mayor Bill White and Honorable Council Members,

Thank you for your willingness to re-visit Chapter 19. We very much appreciate the effort it has taken to address our collective concerns. In the spirit of cooperation we sent a very detailed list of items which we are very sure will be addressed by the hard working staff members in your offices and by Public Works and the Legal Department.

Our goal is to allow smart building in areas designated as Floodways and Flood Plains while serving the City as a whole without reducing property values.

Between now and July 23rd, when the ordinance is scheduled for consideration, we stand ready to answer any questions and participate in any discussions which will lead to a solution to our mutual concerns.
